We have been using PRP(Platelet Rich plasma) in the treatment of various orthopaedic conditions.

  • Early osteoarthritis of the knee. There is a good relief in pain and increase in the range of motion of the knee joint. It’s an OPD procedure. Blood is collected from the patient and be PRP is prepared in the next 20 minutes. After injection the patient is discharged after an hour.
  • Tennis Elbow - Resistant tennis elbow which is just not responsive to physiotherapy and analogesics, responds very well to PRP injections. A small dose of PRP is sufficient to inject the lateral epicondyle.
  • Plantar Fascitis - Heel pain is one of the most common Orthopaedic issue in the Middleaged. Multiple etiologies have been proposed and mosalities including electrotherapy, exercise and local steroid injection have been recommended. In resistant planter fasciitis PRP gives excellent results without any side-effects.
