WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Director at Ashutosh Hospital, Specializing In Complex Trauma and Joint Replacement
  • Performed more than 7000 simple and complex trauma surgeries
  • Performed independent total hip & knee surgeries – about 700 surgeries
  • He had the opportunity to work in the spinal surgery unit with Dr. Elian Sheperd in Methodist Hospital, Munster, U.S.A. in 2008.
  • At Present He is performing approximately 100 Joint replacement surgeries in a year. Approximately 60 are Knee Replacements and 40 are Hip replacements.
  • He does about 10 Complex and 5 Revision Hip Replacements in a year. 15 Complex Primary Knee replacements and 5 Revision Knee Replacements are done in a year.
  • He does about 900 Trauma surgeries including variety of Complex Trauma, Periprosthetic fractures, Polytrauma surgeries and Non-Union management.
  • He also perform surgeries for Deformity Correction, Traumatic Ligament and Tendon reconstruction procedures.

  • Hosted fellows from serbia, ethiopia and namibia at ashutosh hospital. I have given practical demonstrations on various trauma surgeries and techniques such as MIIPO, Deformity correction, Pertiarcular locking plates, Poller screw technique and various rarely used approaches.
  • We had visiting orthopaedic surgeon from U.S.A. - Dr Eric Zeegan Demonstrate complex joint replacement surgeries. I have assisted him and hosted the live demonstrations.

  • Case Series : Uncemented bipolar hemi replacement in failed it fractures
  • Surigical Technique : Percutaneous harvesting of cancellous bone graft from proximal tibia - A Novel method
SOCIAL INITIATIVE
  • Patient education and awareness orthopedic camps at various locations Such as Padra, Jambusar, Dahod, Halol etc. Free consultation is provided to patients for orthopaedic problems and surgery is done at concessional rates.
  • I have been a part of various CME programs for general practioners and junior orthopaedic surgeons. The current concepts in orthopedic surgeries and newer techniques and modalities are discussed with them.
  • We hosted a initiative called ‘Joint Care Express’ in which we educated patients on arthritis and various treatment modalities in a customized bus with a mini theater inside. This event was conducted at various places in the city.
  • We conduct 'Awareness Clinic' every thursday which educates people about various orthopedic problems and how to prevent them.
